Sample document

I checked with LibreOffice 3.3.0 - WIN XP DE [OOO330m9 (Build:1 - build 3.2.99.2)]

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached "samplechart.ods"
2. Mark 'A1:C44'
3. Click Button 'Insert Chart'
A chart will appearafter few seconds
4. select type 'Lines -> 3D Line -> Smooth Lines'
   Expected: I can continue immediately
Actual: 2 Minutes 100% CPU load before I can contiune

That's some better than with OOo 3.1.1 or Dev-3.3.0, where I had to wait nearby 10 minutes, but of course not satisfying.
Comment 1 Noel Power 2010-10-27 05:10:29 UTC
confirmed, kohei, any ideas?
Comment 2 Kohei Yoshida 2010-11-18 22:22:37 UTC
Note that changing component appears to reset the assignee. Grabbing it back.
Comment 3 Kohei Yoshida 2011-01-04 16:12:25 UTC
Looks like the next significant release will be 3.4, not 3.3.1. Resetting the target accordingly.
Comment 4 Kohei Yoshida 2011-04-26 08:33:43 UTC
Probably not plausible for 3.4 under my current workload.
Comment 5 bfoman (inactive) 2013-07-24 06:15:23 UTC
Confirmed with:
LO 4.2.0.0.alfa0
Build ID: 2013-06-24 own debug build

Comment 20 Steven Casey 2023-11-05 21:08:05 UTC
Currently takes ~4 seconds on my PC. First attempt (1 of ~10) did place LO into a non-responsive state for a couple of seconds though. My results could likely be due to stronger hardware than when bug was first reported.
