Description miltong 2010-11-10 21:14:16 UTC
There are conflicts with openoffice.org files.

Steps:

1. Install rpm menus
# rpm -ivh libreoffice3.3-redhat-menus-3.3-1.noarch.rpm
2. Output

el archivo /usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/mimetypes/gnome-mime-application-vnd.oasis.opendocument.database.png de la instalación de libreoffice3.3-redhat-menus-3.3-1.noarch entra en conflicto con el archivo del paquete openoffice.org-core-1:3.2.0-12.33.fc13.i686

and more conflict reports

OS: Fedora 13

yes, and?

I can't see a way out of this. The mimetype is the same and every package shipping this mimetype will conflict against an other. Adding a conflict to every possible (unknown) package name is imho not feasible either.

Just remove your OOo?

Nothing we could sensibly do here, yep. Cc-ing Caolan, I presume fedora-provided packages will correctly handle this.

Yeah, in F-15 its just LibreOffice installed out-of-the-box so the problem doesn't arise.
