Created attachment 40398 [details]
test kit with sample document and result

I checked with "LibreOffice 3.3.0Beta3 - WIN XP DE [OOO330m9 (build 3.2.99.2)]"

Steps to reproduce:
1. open sample0.odg from test kit
2. click sheet 1 in page pane
3. context menu -> copy
4. context menu -> paste / behind
   expected: contents should look exactly as on source sheet
   actual: texts destroyed, additional lines as you see in sample0.pdf

Problem will be healed after save - close - reopen (see sample1.odg)

I have the same issue. Each time I copy/paste a table from Cacl, the formatting of the entire post (including the original from the sender) gets modified to at least the font size of the Calc data.

To me it feels like that font size gets added to the global CSS affecting the entire post as a consequence.

I'm under Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 at the moment) and I've seen this happen for years. I'm sure many of us would appreciate a fix to this. It probably happens with other types of data too... (anything that pastes HTML in a way similar to Calc).

This was marked as Resolved, it never worked for me. I'm not too sure how you can make it work. If it really works for you, maybe you could be so kind as showing us the steps you take to make it work correctly?

On my end, I do:

1. Read an email and decide I should answer
2. Click "Reply"
3. Write an intro such as "Hi There, this is me..."
4. Go to Calc and Copy a table
5. Come back to Thunderbird and type Ctrl-V under my intro
6. ALL the text, i.e. my intro and the text from the original email is all small now

It's wrong tp reopen old bugs. That is done only if original problem was never fixed.
Here it's totally different problem, which is not LO at all, because paste to Thunderbird is their bug.
