Bug forwarded from launchpad, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/692929 as this is present in LibreOffice too. Setting as trivial, as this seems to be only a string change. "When I open a certain .odp document, I get a pop-up question asking "Update all links? Yes/No". Doubtless, it is an important question, but what the hell does it mean? I click "Yes" and things seem to go OK, but what am I updating? Do I really want to update *all* links? What does "updating" _do_ to my links? Are these hyperlinks we're talking about? Anyhow, many questions arise, and you cannot get the answers to any of them. The pop-up box should contain a better question with enough information so that one can get a clue about what is going on." The problem is with the string STR_QUERY_UPDATE_LINKS, see http://opengrok.go-oo.org/search?q=STR_QUERY_UPDATE_LINKS&project=libs-core for details.
Thank you for the report! Fixed in master, using "This document contains one or more links to external data.\n\nWould you like to change the document, and update all links\nto get the most recent data?" There were more proposals on the mailing list, but they'd need more rework; hopefully this is already much better than what we used to have :-)
