Hi Florian,

With the FR langpack installed, this shows up just fine on my system, so can not confirm what you see in your snapshot. Is this DE langpack specific ?

Are you working on a Mac? Might be OS X specific.
Comment 3 Florian Effenberger 2011-01-05 08:03:20 UTC
Might be an even more general problem on OS X -- the numbers on the right side also seem to be slightly cut off. Didn't test what happens when there are 80.000 instead of 8.000 characters listed.

Hi Florian,

Yep, on Macbook Pro 10.6.5, in a document with 16K plus words, the numbers show up correctly in my "Statistiques" window from the Tools menu and do not appear to be truncated. Having said that, the numchars for the whole document do not display, or rather show 0. It seems to work OK with selected text though. Am enclosing another screenshot.

Seems to be fixed the German version, translation string is now in and not cut off. Don't know for en_US. Numbers seem to be ok as well.

hi thorsten, can you confirm this is indeed fixed

Screenshot from Ubuntu using LibreOffice 3.4.4 with en_US

I still have this using 3.4.4 on Ubuntu using en_US (see the screenshot attached), so it's not locale_specific and not OS-specific (or affects more locales and OSs, also reported downstream at Ubuntu[1] with Ru_RU[2]).

@Florian: For some reason the font was bold for you, but Alex's Mac uses the regular version. Maybe that's the problem...
(I am not a Mac user, so can't test at all.)

@Robert: What you are describing is bug 38899 which is indeed cross-platform.
Comment 12 Florian Effenberger 2012-06-28 04:23:47 UTC
Indeed, good spotting! Might be related to the type of font hinting/antialiasing configured on the respective Mac. IMHO, mine is the contrast to Alex'...

Could anyone retest this? It looks to me like this has been fixed by the UI conversion to glade ui files on 2012-09-28. At least for me it looks OK now (the dialog has been relayouted too).
If anyone can confirm this (on trunk or 4.0.0.x), we can close this.
Comment 14 Florian Effenberger 2013-02-05 11:22:55 UTC
Looks fine to me in 4.0rc3 on OS X
Comment 15 Thorsten Behrens (allotropia) 2013-02-08 11:04:36 UTC
Thx for checking, closing as fixed then.
