When I print two copies of a one page document, it outputs only one sheet of paper with both copies on it (on both pages of the sheet). It behaved this way with at least Writer and Calc.
this is a great nuisance as it wastes paper. Needs separate job option to be selected before each printing. Still exists in 3.3.3
I get this problem in 3.4.2. It is "fixed" by checking "Create separate print jobs for collated output" on the Print Dialog. Unfortunately, this option is not preserved between calls to the Print Dialog. I will be proposing a patch so that this setting is preserved. In any case LibreOffice should be intelligent enough to recognize whether the printer can handle collated output as my understanding is that if the printer can do the collating that option will be in the PPD. If this is in doubt maybe default to the "Create separate print jobs for collated output" option.
