Some of the objects pasted to Impress from other windows applications are not displayed in LibreOffice Impress. However, they work fine in Go-oo 3.2.1 and also in Oracle OO 3.4 dev. An example file is attached. The first slide has a missing upper part and the second slide shows how it should look like (pasted as a bitmap). The diagram was originally pasted in two parts from Visio 2003 as an OLE object. I saw there are some reports of wmf files not being displayed in Impress but this is not a wmf file.

Reproducible with "exampleslide" and "LibreOffice 3.3.0 RC2 - WIN7 Home Primium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m18 (build 3.3.0.2)]"? I also can see an other problem with "exampleslide": - Expanded Slide always will be collapsed after a double click on a listed element
This problem is still present in the final 3.3.0 release. Is there any way of finding out when it is likely to be fixed? I had always been using Go-oo before it was closed as it offered best performance and additional features which I appreciated. I never had any major issue with Impress either but this problem is a real show stopper for me so I had to revert back to Go-oo 3.2. Is there an issue voting system here? I couldn't find it.
<http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport_Details#Version> As long it will not have been fixed, it will be present, of course. I unzipped the sample documents and found several .wmf object replacements. Some of them look cruelly distorted in Irfan View, but most of them fine when I open them in LibO or OOo3.4-dev. Only replacement Obj100 can not be opened correctly with LibO (only empty rectangle shown), only wiht OOo. So I believe we should concentrate efforts of a fix for this problem, for what I filed new report Bug 34172 - Contents of particular WMF not shown
.
Just to report that after installing LibO 3.3.1 the problem disappeared. All the objects are displayed correctly. I understand it has been fixed somehow... The same goes for Bug 34172. Thanks.
