Description Gerold Jens Wucherpfennig 2011-01-15 10:19:53 UTC
This seems to be a regression. When 3.3 RC1 was released,
Writer and Draw could display SVG files. Since 3.3 RC2 it is not
possible any more... Can someone check this?

Sorry, I've found out that some SVGs display and can be edited correctly
and some others cannot be displayed, so this is not a regression.

[Reproducible] with "gjwucherpfennig3.svg" and "LibreOffice 3.3.0 RC3 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (build 5 / tag 3.3.0.3)]". Sample document looks fine with Seamonkey.

Also other documents are affected. Under a.m. URL you find a .svg I created with an old OOo version and svg import / export extensions. It looks fine in OOo 3.1.1 and Seamonkey.

It's a real damage and not a viewing problem, after you saved the opened .svg under a new name and open it with an other svg viewer, it will look damaged in the same way as in LibO.

Unfortunately it's impossible to install the OOo SVG import extension to LibO as a workaround.

I think this is the same as bug 32248; the text import function is broken.
