I installed only Writer and Calc.

When I click on TOOLS > BIBLIOGRAPHY DATABASE, Writer crashes and recovers document at next start-up.

Obviously Writer should first check that the components required for the Bibliography function are installed and gracefully notify user the to install the required component.  Or, the TOOLS > BIBLIOGRAPHY DATABASE should be grayed out on start-up when Base has not been installed.

thanks for the report, yes, known bug inherited from OOo. (And a duplicate of 33266)
