This document contains undeletable, unmovable checkboxes.

Try to delete the checkboxes in this document, you won't be able to. You can't right-click on them, you can't move them or remove them. You can modify only their content by left-click but nothing else. I'm not sure but this is an issue after fixing bug 32476: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32476

Its not a duplicate, you just aren't removing them in the correct way. The way to do this is to go into form design mode, select the checkboxes and delete them. You can get the toolbar for form controls by View | Toolbars | Form Controls. Next you need to turn on click the Design mode on ( its the icon with the hand pointing at an 'ok' button ), then just select the checkboxes you want to delete

Ok, I couldn't use it properly. I thought myself as an IT expert with 15 years experience. But okay, it's my fault...

But I feel some UI fault when nothing happens to a right-click on a checkbox for example. Just imagine yourself in the place of a secretary.

There are many ergonomic failures in LibreOffice and it doesn't want to change for years now. I will stick to LibO in the future because I love it for many years now, but I have many clients who changed to MS Office because they couldn't use this free solution. So the user satisfaction is very important, LibO have to work on it...

Thanks for your answer.

well nobody said that it was your fault, I had to fiddle around myself for a little while until I remembered this is the way it works

well if he/she inserted the checkbox then he/she would know how to delete them, if not then like us some wasted time :-)

I think we do, just try and get a prompt (or any) response from Microsoft to your issue. But besides all that in this case actually this is exactly the same scenario in Word, if you have controls inserted in your document you cannot delete them directly... you need to do exactly the same steps.
