LO3.3.0 CALC on Win7Professional platform.
LOSE GRIDLINES WHEN CHANGING BACKGROUND COLOR-TOOLBAR TOGGLE GRIDLINE ICON DOES NOT RESTORE GRIDLINES. Selecting LO Calc presented with spreadsheet white background with light gray gridlines. Toolbar icon Toggle grid lines in current sheet successful. When change background (all cells) to black background color view is black page no gridlines. Toolbar icon toggle does not function by restoring grid lines to the black background. NOTE:TOOLS>OPTIONS>LO CALC>VIEW has checkmark in Grid lines with color defined light gray.

PLEASE Don't use all caps.  ALL CAPS are considered shouting, and we don't really appreciate that.
