Description Eric TheThird 2011-02-14 13:41:41 UTC
Using LO 3.3.0 German and creating a new Calc document the translation of the Sheet1 to Sheet3 tables are not translated to German. They should be called Tabelle1, Tabelle2 and Tabelle3.
In addition when printing a sheet the footer has 'page 1' in the middle instead of 'Seite 1'.

NOT Reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.3.1 RC1 - WIN7  Home Premium (64bit) German UI  [OOO330m19 (build 7 / tag 3.3.1.1)]".
Also ok with [Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.3.0 RC3 - WIN7  Home Premium (64bit) German UI  [OOO330m19 (build 5 / tag 3.3.0.3)]"

@Eric
What Platform / OS do you use?

I'm using Win XP SP3 German with LO 3.3.0.

Please use the following scenario to reproduce the bug:

1) go to the desktop
2) create a new CALC document on the desktop by clicking right mouse, then selecting NEU -> OpenDocument Tabellendokument
3) select the just created 'Neu OpenDocument Tabellendokument.ods' file and open it.
4) check the naming of the 3 tables at the bottom. They are called 'Sheet1' to 'Sheet3'.
5) fill in any single cell with some contents.
6) open 'pageview' and see that at the top the table is called Sheet1 and at the bottom 'Page 1' is displayed centered.

BTW: Creating a new (second) CALC document from the currently opened file with Strg-N creates a new Calc document without the reported problems. MAGIC.

The problem is still part of LO 3.3.1 German.

[Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.3.1  – WIN7  Home Premium  (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (build 8 / tag 3.3.1.2)]"
Works fine for DRAW and Presentation.
Common roots with
Bug 34409 - New document opened from File EXPLORER or Desktop without text language ?

@Kohei:
Any ideas?

@Reiner,
could you reproduce the problem with CALC ?

@All,
selecting a cell and doing 'cell formating' in the non-translated document ('sheet'), the language is shown as 'none', however doing so with a correct document ('Tabelle') the language is show as 'Deutsch'

I think this is not for Kohei, he doesn't handle translations. Andras?
