When you want to select MS Office format
Options -> Load/save -> Presentation
you have 2 possibilities to select "Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP" in the list

Thanks for bugreport
One of variants was "Autoplay". In 3.5.1 it is fixed.
Please, verify if in last LibreOffice this is fixed
