I agree for the first two points, but I'm not sure what to think about the third one: is there a popup menu to expect on that thing? I'll take it to evaluate if it can be an easy hack.

reproducible with LO 4.0.2.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit)

I agree with the first two issues.
The last issue is a general problem that if the spellcheck recognizes a spellcheck error then the normal context does not open (it also relates to the bug 62745).

But I experienced another strange buggy behavior. I changed the language for the Russian text in the sample file to English, but the spellcheck does not recognize the Russian text as faulty.

Tested with LO 6.4.3.2 and 6.5.0.0.alpha

Attachment 44055 [details] identifies 3 issues.

Repro issue 1. Horizontal double-headed arrow icon appears when cursor is placed in number field of list item. No special action is possible. OP suggests this icon is misleading and should be changed.

No repro for issue 2.

No repro for issue 3. (i.e., in 6.3.4.2 context menu comes and works. In 6.5.0.0.alpha - no context menu)

Have modified bug summary to reflect Issue 1 (and changed classification from Dialog and Style to List)

Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community

OP suggests this icon is misleading because it implies that the number field can be dragged (when in fact nothing can be dragged). OP suggests that icon should be changed.

Comment 11 sdc.blanco 2024-01-20 11:14:02 UTC
Repro (first problem)

Place cursor over first half of number in an ordered list.
Notice that double-headed arrow icon appears. OP suggests that icon should be changed, because this icon suggests that something can be dragged, when in fact nothing can be dragged.
