If you try to open a password protected Powerpoint document the message "Loading of a password protected Powerpoint presentation is not supported". I think the reason is, that password protected isn't available in impress. So i suggested to create a PDF document. But the presentation includes interactive buttons to jump from slide 3 to slide 8 and so on. This functionality doesn't work in the PDF document. So there is no way to give a presentation with interactive functions to a user that shouldn't be able to change the document. Either it should be possible to protect an impress document (an open a password protected Powerpoint file) or the interactive functionality should be provided in the PDF file (e.g. as internal link).
reproduced in 3.3.1 as: password protected ppt is not supported ,meanwhile password protected pptx is well supported. Attaching a sample file. Looks like an enhancement request, so add Radek to the CC list to see any further ideas of this.
