When opening a file that specifies a background gradient using PowerPoint 2010, the font formatting remains, but the background for the themes is not fully applied.


A sample of this occurs in the freely available University lecture notes that AMD released for OpenCL.

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back

I think, Background Gradient is a feature, that has yet to be implemented.

I just tested the files that had the issue with a newer release of Libreoffice. Libreoffice 3.5.4.2 ( version from Ubuntu 12.04 ) did not display this issue.
