test case

On Linux (Kubuntu 10.10 64bit)

To reproduce

1) Open sample presentation (document A in the following). Note that it contains an image with a transparent background

2) Without closing document A, open a new empty presentation or a new empty drawing (document B in the following)

3) Go to document A, select the image and Edit->Copy

4) Go to document B and Edit->Paste

Note that the pasted image has a non-transparent background.
Comment 1 Jan Holesovsky 2011-04-14 08:28:19 UTC
The image does not seem to have a transparent background even in the original presentation - can you please attach it separately?

If I open the previous attachment, I get a transparent background in either openoffice or libreoffice. See the test-case.png screenshot and note how the grid continues inside the picture perimeter.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

Comment 4 Björn Michaelsen 2011-12-23 17:02:44 UTC
needinfo keyword redundant by needinfo status.
Comment 5 Callegar 2011-12-24 05:35:43 UTC
Cannot test on 3.5.0 beta, since it does not seem to be currently available as DEB 64bit.

Bug is certainly still present in 3.4.4. Don't know if it is strictly a libreoffice issue or an issue with the Xorg clipboard.
Comment 6 Callegar 2011-12-27 04:01:35 UTC
Confirmed on 3.5.0 beta 2
