Description DrC 2011-04-18 04:06:45 UTC
Hung on export as pdf. Possibly because I was repacing an earlier version of the PDF after updating the .odt file - with the old .pdf still open. I have done that before without a hang - I tend to proof read a .pdf rather than the .odt itself, so this is not a new scenario for me.
Possibly because I had several other documents open - all from unc or mapped drives (both used) to the one folder on a (Debian/Samba) sever.
Ended up with unresponsive windows in front of everything making the desktop unusable. Could neither move nor close them.
Thinks:
If I was saving vai UNC and viewing via mapped drive would that confuse things?
Is it a Windows problem rather than LO?

Microsoft diagnostics attached - well beyond my expertise but might mean something to an expert ...

Does this happen every time you export to pdf while the pdf document is still open, or does it happen only some of the time?

Also, does it happen when your pdf document resides on your local hard drive?

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
