Description Stefano Fraccaro 2011-04-18 06:41:14 UTC
1. Create new document
2. File -> Save to PDF...
3. Current directory is always C:\Documents and Settings\stefano\Dati Applicazioni\LibreOffice\3\user\gallery (expected: Desktop folder or last used folder)
4. if I click "Default directory", I go to desktop folder

I can reproduce it only when using LibreOffice's own file picker dialog. But at this point there is little reason why the users should still be using this dialog. Using Windows' own dialog, the default location is much saner.

You can select to use Windows' own dialog by Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> General, and under Open/Save dialogs uncheck "Use LibreOffice dialogs" (or one that sounds like it in Italian).

I personally don't see it as a bug.

Windows dialogs are even in gallery folder. Why the user must click always to My Documents or Desktop and search every time for specific folders? I think that the better option is last user folder (can do file operation more quickly). I show you at:

If this is not a bug, maybe an enhancement. Tom Davies tell that 3.3.1 does not have this trouble.

I can reproduce this at will, and yeah, this always annoyed me. I know where this comes from.
