Writer and Inkscape rendering the same SVG

Attached there is an screenshot showing how Writer and Inkscape render the same SVG file (also attached here).
The most noticeable problem is the shadow rendering, but there are also several artifacts.

[Reproducible] with reporter's sample document "LibreOffice 3.4Beta2 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [DEV300m103 (Build:1)]": Main problems are the shadow below the penguin and several grey borders around gradients at the head.

We should handle the shadow problem here, I believe that the borders around the gradients at the head have different roots and recommend to file a separate bug report with reference to the sample for this bug.

Problems sound similar to the ones in
Bug 34205 - SVG import: transparency gradients incorrect

@RGB
Do you agree with my guess concerning different roots?

Looks much better when I insert the SVG in a DRAW document with Master build.

This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

The problem is NOT present on 3.5 beta2.
