@kaktuuus Please attach at least a sample document and may be screenshots!
Created attachment 47661 [details] Libreoffice Document with white spaces instead of underbrace-sign
Created attachment 47662 [details] Screenshot of described problem
NOT reproducible with reporter's sample document and "LibreOffice 3.4.0RC2 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [OOO340m1 (Build:12)]" The "underbrace" looks misplaced and much too big directly after I have opened the document, but 1x doubleclick formula object and leaving it again solves the problem. Creating a new WRITER Document with a new Formula (Contents: "size 12{ { Sum cSub { size 8{i=1} } cSup { size 8{n} } {x rSub { size 8{i} } n} } underbrace {"Ausprägung" times "Merkmalsträger"} } {}") looks fine. When I delete my Open Symbol font I can reproduce the underbrace problem. Related to or DUP of "Bug 32052 - hat, vector and tilde doesn't appear"? @kaktuuus@gmx.de: No, German is no good idea! Please check whether a.m. Bug contains hints for a solution for your problem. It would be useful if you could try to attach the most simple sample document as possible. Your attachment is a WORD document from obscure source ... May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully before you post further reports?
first of all, sorry for my amateur-like bugreport... as you could see i'm not very experienced with it. Thank you for helping me though. When i decided reporting this bug I couldn't find any other bug matching my problem. Now i found out my bug report is a duplicate of bug 32052 (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32052). It seems I had installed various versions of the opens___.ttf. Just acted like described ~$ locate opens___.ttf ~/.fonts/.microsoftfonts/opens___.ttf ~/.fonts/truetype/opens___.ttf /usr/share/fonts/truetype/openoffice/ When deleting the two fonts within my HOME-Folder, my bug was fixed! Seems this has been the reason for either one of my problems, also the "tilde" over variables now works fine!
@kaktuuus: Thank you for quick feedback! We all started as beginners ;-) I mar this one as DUP for now. Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 32052 ***
