Created attachment 46582 [details] Demonstration spreadsheet which shows the bug when AutoSpellCheck is enabled. LibreOffice Calc contains a bug linking spelling errors with text alignment. Specifically, vertical text has its vertical justification wrong if the cell text contains a spelling error, but this occurs only if AutoSpellCheck is enabled. I've attached a demonstration spreadsheet that clearly shows the problem on my system, if and only if AutoSpellCheck is enabled. I'm running LibreOffice v3.3.2 on Windows XP Professional 32-bit Service Pack 3. I will also attached the spreadsheet exported to PDF to show what I see for those who might not experience the same bug. Note that PDF output is also only wrong if AutoSpellCheck was enabled in LibreOffice. It is obvious to me that printed or PDF output formatting should never depend on whether whether particular editing aids were visible or not during editing, so I would speculate that there may be a secondary design flaw as well.
