3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Writer via the Terminal:

cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice/+bug/411252/+attachment/656818/+files/OO-layout-test.docx && lowriter -nologo OO-layout-test.docx

and the table looks as it does in Word 2007 (please see screenshot of file in Word 2007 https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice/+bug/411252/+attachment/2140364/+files/Screenshot-OO-layout-test%20-%20Microsoft%20Word.png ).

4) What happens instead is the table is split vertically across 3 pages.

Unreproducible in LibreOffice 3.4.2.
