Writer文書のページレイアウトについて

[手順]
メニューバーより「書式｜ページ」を選択し、『ページスタイル』ダイアログを表示します。

「ページ」タブ上の「ページレイアウト」コンボボックスより【左右対称】を選択します…
…いくつかの状態下では左右非対称となります。

問題点としては、ページの余白とパディングが追従しない点にあります。

【左右対称】を選択すると、同タブ画面上の『余白』項目はそれぞれ次のように変化します：
左→内側
右→外側

これに対し、「外枠」タブ画面上の『内容までの間隔』項目は変化しません：
左→左
右→右

ページレイアウトの影響範囲としては、「ページ」であるはずなので、
『外枠』タブ画面の枠線と間隔も併せて、内側/外側となるべきです。

LibO 3.4.5 and 3.5.0 RC-2 isn't improved, too.

document contains different distance for even and odd pages

Thanks for bugreport and sorry for so long not answered.
As I understand, we need different distance from text to borders for odd and even pages. I have attached document that contains different distances from text to border for first page, even pages, odd pages.
Please, say: I right understand what needed?

no problem about *settings* of distance from text to border in this page format.
(right about *image* of distance from text to border after first page.)


"Page layout" in the Page style format with this odt file:
  first page = 'Right and left'
  even page = 'Only right'
  odd page = 'Only left'
such settings.


I reported, about this "Page layout" settings is 'Mirrored'.

if 'Mirrored' settings,"Left" and "Right" become "Inner" and "Outer" each, in "Margins" displayed on same tab.

in contrast, remain unchanged in "Spacing to contents" displayed on "Borders" tab.


don't become bilaterally symmetric page layout, reason to:
"Left" and "Right" in "Spacing to contents" to remain unchanged "Inner" and "Outer".

このページ書式におけるテキストから枠線までの距離の<設定>につきましては問題ありません。
（先頭ページ以降でのテキストから枠線までの距離の<イメージ>については正しいです。）


このodtファイルでのページスタイル書式における「ページレイアウト」は：
　先頭ページ＝左右
　偶数ページ＝右のみ
　奇数ページ＝左のみ
となっています。


私がレポートしたのは、この「ページレイアウト」設定が【左右対称】の場合についてです。

ページレイアウトを【左右対称】とした場合、
ダイアログの同タブ画面上の「余白」の左、右がそれぞれ内側、外側になります。

これに対して、「外枠」タブ画面上の「内容までの間隔」の左、右には変化ありません。


この「内容までの間隔」の左、右がそれぞれ内側、外側に変化しないことで、
左右対称のページレイアウトにはなりません。

Thanks for additional explanations.
As I can understand, if we in dialog Format->Page on tab "Page" changing "Page layout" field to Mirrored, then on most tabs of this dialog settings are tacking in account that now instead of left and right margin exist inner and outer. But tabs "Borders" and "Background" do not so. They remain using left and right margin instead of inner and outer.

IMHO it is Enhancement request.
And I do not know if it is possible to save such information into Oasis ODF format.

Possible Workaround: enable Header or Footer, disable there option "The same content on left/right", draw border as simple rectange and anchor this rectangle to Header or Footer.

Well, if that's the case this looks indeed an enhancement request to me too :).

Btw, we don't have to store this information in the ODF file format... As far I can see 'we' can check the page layout is mirrored. If so -> show other dialogs (inner/outer instead of left/right). On the background we still can 'calculate' with left/right and save it as such. :) but I'm not a dev.
