Description cunio 2011-06-20 15:02:07 UTC
When complicated spreadsheet is loaded into Calc (several charts, copies of charts on many sheets, references to other files, macros, etc.) after several minutes all the temp directory is filled by more than 920 copies of autorecovery copies (even when Autorecovery is not checked in the option).

When temp dir is flooded with the copies there is no more chance to save the file ("too many files open" - error, "file could not be written" -error or one more strange message about i/o error which I don't remember now).

There is no way to save spreadsheet file in any format. I had to kill soffice.bin and pray to have most of my work recovered :(

I may submit the file to assignee in private.

Hi, could you have a look at bug 38590 and see if you encounter the same problem with the attached file ?

Thanks.

Yes, bug 38590 seams to look similar, but... I think I had in 3.4.0 - that is probably why I installed 3.4.1rc1
