Open the attached ods document. Go to the pivot_table_sheet In the pivot table, select some cells under the field "affectation" (jointed or not jointed selection) In menu choose Data -> Group and Outline -> Group Then .... crash. This works perfectly in previous versions. In 3.x, this action create a new field "affectation 2" in the pivot table. This field can be use as any other field in the pivot table. I've set severity to "major", because it's a regression, but feel free to set it to another value.

NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.4.1RC1 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:103)]" @Reporter: Please contribute precise information concerning your Operating System, LibO Localization. May be you should add some details for your step by step instruction? Please never use terms like "... some cells ...", you can be absolutely sure that I will find the one and only some cells what will not cuase a crash ;-) You can find several hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> Thank you for your attention!
Thank for your attention too ! "some cells " => any selection of more than one cell in category "affectation" (eg : select cells with value "403" and "404" then try to group). It WAS on Win 7 Pro 64bits with french/english version Lib0 3.4.0 French settings but english user interface : easier for bug search/reporting I say "was" because the problem is solved in 3.4.1RC2 !!! ( I've dug a little and played with download url to find this version). Perhaps problem linked with bug 37816 (fixed) and bug 38469 (seems to be fixed too with rc2 and probably already with rc1). Good job !
@Nicolas R: That's good news. Can you please observe this problem for a while? These bugs "fixed by fluke" sometimes reappear, then please feel free to reopen this report.
(In reply to comment #4) > @Nicolas R: > That's good news. Can you please observe this problem for a while? I really think it's linked to previously mentioned bugs, so it's not totally "fixed by fluke".
RESOLVED, FIXED or CLOSED bugs cant be KEYWORD NEEDINFO.
