Current State UI Worksheet Tab Design

PROBLEM:

The worksheet tabs located at the bottom of the User Interface for Calc are poorly rendered and too small to be usable. They interfere with the horizontal scroll bar so that there is either not enough horizontal real estate for the tabs, or not enough horizontal real estate for the scroll bar. (Please see Libre_Office_Tabs_On_Bottom.png, attached).

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

Move the worksheet tabs to the top of the UI, following the generally accepted design practice of placing tabs at the top of a user interface. To improve usability, make the tabs larger so they are easier to work with. Use a more pleasing tab design, rather than the crude tiny trapezoidal design used currently. (Please see a mock-up of this proposal, Libre_Office_Tabs_On_Top.png, attached).

With this new approach, the tabs will have more horizontal space; the horizontal scroll bar will remain at the bottom, but it will utilize the entire width of the document, as per established user interface design practices.
