If I delete columns or rows in a spreadsheet with images (anchored to
cells), Calc behaves strangely. See the attached file:

1. If I delete a row or a column with an image, the image is not deleted
- Try with, say, row 6 or column D
2. If a row without an image is deleted, the image in a neighbor (or
close cell) is deformed - try by deleting row 1 or Column A,B,C

Tested with LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:202)

Reproduced with:

LO 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:202)
Ubuntu 10.04.3 x86
Linux 2.6.32-33-generic Russian UI

Confirmed for LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:103) on OpenSuse Linux.

Cannot say exactly what happens to the image after deletion because it is very erratic. Sometimes the image does not move at all (ie the column collapses but the image ends up in the same absolute position). This is strange because when right clicking the image it says that the image is anchored to the cell. At other times the image becomes deformed, I noticed this after moving the images around. And at other times after moving the images around the image does change position after deleting the column.

Regardless, there is evidently an error and it can be very annoying for users.

Vertical misaligned and deformed images after deletion of row

The bug that images are not connected (anchored) to the cells was fixed in OpenOffice only in 3.3, if I remember rightly but it is still open in LibreOffice right from the beginning, even with the latest rel. 3.4.2.

LO always anchors images to the page, even if you click with the right mouse button onto an image and chose "anchor to cell". If you close the file and reopen it, you will see that the setting is again "anchored to page".

By consequence, whenever a line is deleted, added or changed in terms of height, all the pictures below the carried out changement are mispositioned since they keep their vertical position as they are anchored to the page instead to the cell.

As Milos Sramek has described, it is easily to reproduce the deforming of images: Just anchor images to their cells, using only one column. In some rows their is either no image or a smaller one. So the height differs from the height of neighboured rows containing pictures. If you now delete a row whose heigt differs from that of its neighbours, the picture of the row below gets the height of the deleted row. Moreover all the following pictures are misaligned - inspite of the fact they were anchored to the cells. (I have attached two screenshots)

The bug number 33251 is related to the same problem.

(LO Rel. 3.4.2 running on PC with WIN XP SP3)
