I have a docx document which is only opened in LibreOffice showing up with 3 pages, but opened with Word2007 it has 25 pages. On the fourth page (the first, which is not shown) is a Visio OLE Object, maybe this is the problem. This bug only occurs in the 3.4 branch of LO. If this document is opened with LO 3.3.2 it shows all pages.
Can you attach the file that cause the problem please?
Created attachment 49881 [details] A file with the described problem. original 3 pages, only 2 show up This is not the original file, but a test file I created. This has originally 3 pages, but only 2 show up. the visio ole object is on page 3.
Thanks. Tested and reproducible with [LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:203)] on Windows XP. But *not* reproducible with [LibreOffice 3.3.3 OOO330m19 (Build:301) tag libreoffice-3.3.3.1] This is regression. Step to reproduce: - Open the file with Writer and Word. (I use Word 2007) - Comparing it, notice that there are 18 paragraphs before the Visio Object, and 4 after. The 3.4.2 doesn't show the object and all paragraphs after the object. Cedric, please feel free to reassign if it isn't your area :)
Since all new unconfirmed bugs start in state UNCONFIRMED now and old unconfirmed bugs were moved to NEEDINFO with a explanatory comment, all bugs promoted above those bug states to NEW and later are automatically confirmed making the CONFIRMED whiteboard status redundant. Thus it will be removed.
[NOT REPRODUCIBLE] on Windows XP: * 3.5.3 RC1 * daily build Win-x86@6-fast, pull time 2012-05-08 21.43.52, Build ID: 7f3f6e4 So, WORKSFORME.
Minor nitpicking bug spin-off to bug 49682.
Works for me too... LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 Build ID: 281b639-6baa1d3-ef66a77-d866f25-f36d45f
