Description seanconnery 2011-08-07 07:47:49 UTC
Created attachment 50012 [details]
basic text on several pages and some sample footnotes

If footnotes of certain types are included (not sure if number also matters) in a document, the recovery process is initiated the next time of opening a document (the same or a different one), even though LO has been closed in a regular way. Happens for 3.4.X, but NOT for 3.3.3.

Tested in Windows XP (32bit) and Windows 7 (64bit).

Attached 1 file:
testfile_bug -> just added some footnotes -> recovery is initiated every time after this file has been opened

Reproducible with LibO 3.4.2 release on WinXP.
That's caused by two--or more--footnotes in a single paragraph over two pages
(e.g.: testfile_bug.odt, paragraph with footnotes 4-7 on pages 1-2).

Since all new unconfirmed bugs start in state UNCONFIRMED now and old unconfirmed bugs were moved to NEEDINFO with a explanatory comment, all bugs promoted above those bug states to NEW and later are automatically confirmed making the CONFIRMED whiteboard status redundant. Thus it will be removed.
