Created attachment 50307 [details] EDITING text box with over 300 letters in vertical direction is very slowly in impress, editing text box with over 300 letters in vertical direction is very slowly. But in horizontal, it is not slowly.
Failed to reproduce on LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:103) for OpenSuse Linux. Editing both horizontal and vertical textboxes work at decent speed.
