TOTOIIIUr: on 3.4.4 (Debian x86-32 testing) I tried these : - add a row -> OK - add a column -> OK - apply a style shadow on table -> OK - apply line space double -> OK Since I'm not sure having well understood what you meant, could you try to reproduce these pbs with 3.4.4 ? If you reproduce them, could you try with a brand new file ?

So you can not change any style of a table. Could it be an old report from OOo?? In Report_generator there are horizontal and vertical lines, which were not shown (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33617), but the format of this lines could not be changed the whole time the Report-Generator exists. A better Idea could be to generate lines and table-borders with shapes in the background of the fields of a report.
I wonder that this report is changed to "New". Nobody has confirmed it. Could be, that it is a duplicate of https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33617. More than one year ago and nothing added, which declares step by step, what is wrong. So we must speculate.
