Description Frantisek Erben 2011-08-20 16:29:52 UTC
How to reproduce:
Copy Chart and paste it into Writer/Presentation/Draw (files included).

Result:
In writer is "f(x) = 0x -0" instead of correct formula "f(x) = 1,265…

Expected result:
Same chart as in Calc.

Other observation:
Copy&Paste between 2 .ods documents works fine.

Formula error confirmed for LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:103) on OpenSuse Linux.
Comment 4 Regina Henschel 2011-08-22 06:54:43 UTC
It is only a wrong formatting. Open the chart for editing. Double-click the equation and call format for this object. Set a suitable format in the tab "number". You can avoid such troubles, if already in Calc you do not use the format "standard" but set it to a science format explicitly.
Comment 5 Frantisek Erben 2011-08-22 08:06:47 UTC
Regina your workaround works perfectly, but I disagree with your bug classification.
For me it's still bug with workaround: Writer must keep the number's format from Calc under all circumstances (Drag&Drop, Copy&Paste, Import…).
Importance decreased due workaround existence.

Still present. Workaround in comment #4 to format as scientific, but I would say this is non-obvious for a user to discover on her own. E.g., I first tried to format as numbers, but that didn't help. As such raising the importance according to the flow chart

Also, I previously tested this to be inherited
