I have a 150+ page genealogy document that was created in OpenOffice Writer. It loads in LibreOffice Writer, but when I attempt to close the document without closing the program, it crashes LibreOffice Writer and creates a lock file. When LibreOffice is restarted, it attempts to recover the document from the lock file. I am including a short version of the document (15 pages) which will cause the same problem. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open crash-test.odt in Libre Office 2. Click the close document [x] button in the upper right corner (NOT the close program button) 3. Watch it crash
Created attachment 50513 [details] LibreOffice crash on close test
I reproduce the crash with LibO 3.4.3 rc1 on Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 with FR langpack. But not reproduced with: - master compiled by myself - LibreOffice 3.3.2 provided by Ubuntu (PPA repository) Set version to 3.4.3 rc1 Best regards. JBF
Probably duplicate of Bug 39510. I mark it as a dup for now. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 39510 ***
