Created attachment 50566 [details] "About" dialog 3.4.3 - no tagline Since LibO 3.4 in the "About Lireoffice" dialog the line telling the tag of the recent version is missing. So for example LibO-3.4.3rc2 only contains: LibreOffice 3.4.3 OOO340m1 (Build:302) which doesn't obviously show this beeing the second ready to use intended release. Whereas in LibO-3.3.4 release this is shown: LibreOffice 3.3.4 OOO330m19 (Build:401) tag libreoffice-3.3.4.1 The latter makes it more easy for development unrelated people (user support for example) to narrow down /when/ a bug was introduced.

Confirmed for LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:103) on OpenSuse Linux.
[This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html
In 3.5-beta2 the build-ID has been added, but the tagline is still missing.

(In reply to comment #4) > In 3.5-beta2 the build-ID has been added, but the tagline is still missing. More precisely: The line containig the build info was replaced by the build ID, which is fine as both are plain developer info. 3.4.4: LibreOffice 3.4.4 OOO340m1 (Build:402) 3.5 beta2: LOdev3.5.0beta2 Build-ID: xxxx... The tag line is important for other areas of the project (user support, documentation writers, ...) which need precise information about the build they work on in a "speaking" way. So I set this bug to "new".
