While testing the daily builds from master on Mac OSX, I have noticed that when the app is started the main app window no longer gets foreground focus and is displayed behind other windows already open on the desktop. The problem is apparent all the way back to at least the build of 27/06 in the builds from : Index of /daily/Mac_OSX_10.6.0_gcc-4.0.1_x86/master but unfortunately I don't have anything older than that to test when it first appeared and the daily build server holds less than a month's worth of disk images. Just to compare with 3.3.4 and 3.4.2, both launch with foreground focus even if other windows had focus on the desktop, so it is a regression to current production behaviour. Alex
Alex, are you able to move the application into foreground by clicking on the app window or app window border? Or is the application completely unusable?
Hi Petr, Oh the app can be used no problem once the main window is manually given focus by the user, e.g. by clicking on it (assuming you can see it behind the other windows) or by bringing it to the foreground with the Mac app switch focus keys (Cmd-Tab). Alex
Hi Alex, thanks for info. I have listed the bug in the LO-3.5 most annoying bugs to get attention of developers. I agree that it is pretty annoying. Well, the workaround is easy, so it is not a blocker => lovering the severity a bit.
This is now fixed, at least, it apprently is in build : LibO-dev 3.5.0 Build ID: 6058133-1b94742-3dca5fd-7252360 Closing Alex
