Calc uses a default line strength from 0,8cm, but in my opinion it is too much and charts with many lines will be confusing. The user should be able to preset the line strength by itself.
This is not a valid bug report, no idea what we are talking about here. May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully? Then please: - Write a meaningful Summary - Attach a sample document (not only screenshot) - Attach screenshots with comments (you can add information using LibO DRAW and then attach your screenshot with comments as PDF) if necessary, because you can not know what others will see with your sample - Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem (and if possible how to created a sample document from the scratch) - add information -- what exactly is unexpected -- and why do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!) -- concerning your PC (video card, ...) -- concerning your OS -- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language) –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems -- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document –- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful -- everything else crossing your mind after you read a.m. URL May be you can test <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport_Details> for submitting bug reports? Please file Bug reports with status UNCONFIRMED if your are not absolutely sure that you contributed all required background information, that the problem will be reproducible with information you can provide or that your enhancement request will be accepted! Thank you!
It seems we are talking about charts, and not about a default width of 0,8cm, but 0,8mm. I agree, it would be useful to have a possibility to assign common attributes for chart lines (bars, ...) This could be done in the following way (for example): - Each chart also contains an empty 'data series' "common" -- That can be reached by button from normal 'Format data series' dialog - 'Format data series' dialog for this "common" data series looks very similar to the normal one, -- but each setting has an additional checkbox "transfer to selected data series" -- it contains an additional tab with a data series selector, what allows selection with mouseclick, shift+mouseclick, control+mouseclick -- A <Transfer> button transfers all settings with checked "transfer ..." to the selected data series Alternaties: - Data Styles (via F11) or - A "Chart default settings" dialog (currently only available for colors) @Christoph May be you already have some thoughts in the drawer?

Is comment 2 a valid and worth enhancement? I'm not so experienced with Charts. Set to unconfirmed. Please set back to invalid or wontfix or another appropriate bug status.
