Description kbmauser 2011-10-06 07:58:11 UTC
Problem description: copying a scatter plot to Impress from Calc may result in data points missing if objects were grouped with the plot. Also, if the plot is a stock (box-and-whisker) plot then the box's and whisker's become discolored and messed up.

Scatter plot issue:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a scatter plot in Calc
2. Create a graphic on top and group the graphic and the plot together
3. Copy and paste from Calc to Impress and most likely you'll lose your data points (if not something else or additional...)

Stock (box-and-whisker) plot issue:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a stock (box-and-whisker type) plot in Calc
3. Copy and paste from Calc to Impress and most likely your figure will be messed up.

Current behavior:
copying a scatter plot to Impress from Calc may result in data points missing if objects were grouped with the plot. Also, if the plot is a stock (box-and-whisker) plot then the box's and whisker's become discolored and messed up.

Expected behavior:
The plot/chart/graph should look identical in Impress as it does in Calc.

@kbmauser@gmail.com:
Please:

- Attach sample documents (Spreadsheet source and result.odp (not only
  screenshot)
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem (and if possible how to created a
  sample document from the scratch)
- add information
  -- what exactly is unexpected
-- and why do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
  -- concerning your PC
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language)
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
–- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read a.m. URL

Could you attach any example documents to allow others to check on different
system/build?
