Problem description: LibreOffice does not seem to be able to print all the characters regardless of the module in use. The printed documents display an incomplete output of the orginal document with characters missing or replaced by different glyphs (commas instead of n, etc.) Steps to reproduce: 1. Edit a document (text, spreadsheet, presentation or drawing) with LibreOffice 3.4.3 under Ubuntu 11.10 2. Print it Platform (if different than the browser): Ubuntu 11.10 Notes: This does not seem to be caused by Ubuntu itself as I tried printing documents or webpages with other applications and I had no issues. Also I tested it with several different fonts and the bug was reproductible. Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1
not produced in mepis 11 and LibreOffice 3.4.3.

The problem has been resolved in the meantime: I had to install a Linux compatible printer driver (HPLIP something). What was annoying was the fact that all appeared in a perfect way on the screan whereas the printed documents were hard to understand! (No WYSIWYG) Best Gerhard Schulz
