Description dherman 2011-10-17 20:42:21 UTC
By default the slide sorter panel will order slides from left to right until window is full (7 or 8 slides) then start a new row.

In order to actually sort your slides you must configure the slide sorter so that there is only 1 slide per row (single column)

Tested on openSUSE 11.4
LibreOffice 3.4.2
OOO340m1 (Build:1206)

Works properly in version
LibreOffice 3.3.1
OOO330m19 (Build:8)
tag libreoffice-3.3.1.2

cannot confirm the issue with 3.4.4 / 3.4.2 on Ubuntu and 3.5.0(pre)beta1 .
Independent of number of slides on the row.
Have used it regularly over the past months is all kind of versions too.

It prolly was a 3.4.2 (& OpenSuse?) problem.
So I close this one.

Just for completeness
The issue seemed to be confined to the 3.4.x series of releases.
Problem occurred with openSUSE packages and the packages downloaded from libreoffice.org.

The 3.5 series (32 and 64 bit)downloaded from libreoffice.org work beautifully.
openSUSE has not yet released 3.5 as stable.

Thank you
