Description Martin Neuß 2011-10-27 12:49:53 UTC
Every time i try to change database fields in report builder e.g. changing width, length, position, ...
the spinning wheel appears and libreoffice crashes.

report builder and database funciotnality is near to unusable.

crash reports were sent automatically to apple.

Known bug, so this is a duplicate. All I have to do now is remember where the original bug was filed, because it has since been fixed :-))

The fix has been done for 3.5, it should already be in RC3. You could try and test to see if it now works for you.

As suggested by Alex, could you try to reproduce this on a 3.5 version ?

Alex: did you find the original bug ? (tried a search and found nothing, perhaps missed it)
Comment 3 Jochen 2012-07-27 15:14:53 UTC
@Martin:
please: could you try to reproduce this on a 3.5 version (the last stable version is 3.5.5)?

@Alex:
What is the original bug?
Duplicate?

Definitely a duplicate that Lionel thought he had fixed (at least partially), however, I see that he has re-opened it.

I think it is this one :
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44721

If you don't agree, reset it to new/unconfirmed.

Bear in mind also that other factors may be at work here, notably Java instabilities linked to Accessibility crash issues, etc, which are rife on OSX and LO.
