Created attachment 52845 [details] ODP (bad background) (as a data point, this is a long-standing OOo bug, didn't find it here or in the OOo bug tracker). I create a lot of LO presentations where I set photos as the background for a slide - the idea is to make the content (the photo) fill the entire screen, and overlay a few words of text (sometimes). In LibreOffice and OpenOffice.org, when you sent a background picture for a slide, you are systematically asked "set as background for all slides?" and I systematically anser "No". The presentation looks fine as a PDF export, and when I save as PPT, the backgrounds are correctly stored. However, when I save as .odp, close LibreOffice, and then reopen the .odp, all trhe slides which have a picture set as a slide background use the same photo for all backgrounds. This adds work reformatting whenever I open, and has resulted in embarassment on a number of occasions when I get to a slide & the background image isn't at all what I expected. I've attached a test case. I opened a new empty presentation, set an empty slide layout, and set 2 different background pictures. I saved as odp and ppt - both are attached. When I open the ODP, both slides have the same background.

not reproducible with LO 4.0.1.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit) I saved the attached ppt file as an odp file and reopend it and everything seems to be fine. Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release of LO? Otherwise, I would propose to close this bug as Resolved.
Same as comment 2, not reproducible on LO 4.0.4.1 (Win7 32bit) Please REOPENED this bug if you still experience the problem on latest stable release.
