Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a new document Spreadsheet 2. Select cell A2:B2 3. Right click -> Format Cells 4. On "Borders" page change "Width" from 0.25pt to 1.25pt. 5. Hit "OK" button. 6. File -> Save as -> Change name for "TEST" 7. Chande type for .xls. 8. File -> Open (TEST.xls) 9. Select cells (A2:B2) 10. Right click -> Format Cells 11. What do we know about EXCEL border width capability? May be it only knows 0.25pt for the border style you selected and the observed behavior is intended? I can reproduce the observation with MS EXCEL VIEWER, 1.25pt and 2.5pt look like 0.25pt I will check later with EXCEL
