Problem description: When using Presenter Console on secondary screen to display slide overview, selecting one slide shows this slide on primary screen. This is not working when primary screen was displaying the black "end of presentation" message. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open presentation with some slides, activate PC on secondary screen 2. go through presentation until the black "end of presentation. Press any key to finish" is shown (loosely translated from German, sorry) 3. open slide overview from presenter console, double click on any previous slide Current behavior: Primary Screen doesn't change. Expected behavior: Primary Screen should display selected slide. Platform (if different from the browser): * Discovered on: Windows Vista x64 SP2 [1] * Reproduced on: Win XP 32bit by Volker Merschmann [1] [1] Thread in de-users (started 15 Nov 2011): http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/de/users/msg03288.html
reproduced in 3.5.2 on Windows 7 32 bit Steps to reprodice: - do steps 1-3 from initial report at this time in my case selected screen appears on target screen 4. press space on keyboard or click arrow to right on console screen Expected: we go to next slide or effect Actually: slideshow exits (on Linux not tested)
Changed component to Presentation because PresenterConsole is no longer an extension. Still reproducible with version 4.1.4 on Ubuntu 13.10 x86-64. Best regards. JBF

Still reproducible. Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 6626281b4a123cfb5e2c8f449b55f4acd46ee198 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win; TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-10-18_05:10:37 Locale: de-AT (de_AT); Calc: CL
In my case the presentation ends when selecting another slide in the slide preview. Also when changing the presentation by accessing the slides via numbers on the keyboard the presentation will end when changing via the presenter console afterwards. When using the arrow keys everything is fine. Version: 6.3.3.2 Build ID: 1:6.3.3-0ubuntu0.19.10.1 CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
I reproduced with old LO 4.0, but not with newer 6.2 and 7.1+. No more "click to end presentation", if we go to Slides on last slide, when Next Slide is black, and choose previous slide, it's seen on external display. I set WFM. If someone reproduces, please write exact steps, best with attached simple sample. Note: In LO 6.0 we could click Next n times for n slides, so external display would remain black. In 7.1+ we can only click Next n-1 times, so last slide remains displayed. But that doesn't seem to affect this bug.
(In reply to dldld from comment #6) > In my case the presentation ends when selecting another slide in the slide > preview. Also when changing the presentation by accessing the slides via > numbers on the keyboard the presentation will end when changing via the > presenter console afterwards. When using the arrow keys everything is fine. That may be another issue, reports separately if not found in search. Important if happens with each presentation or just some. And try before to reset/delete user profile.
