In Writer, you can set your first name, last name, company, etc... in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User Data When you export any document to PDF, this personal information gets its way to the PDF meta-data. (You can retrieve it with File > Properties in Adobe Reader for instance) However, if you do not set your personal information, the 'Author' field in the exported PDF gets set to 'School Computer Science'. I can not confirm that (LO 3.4.5, Windows 7). However there is another bug for the author field. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41325
3.5.0 and 3.6.0 master saves author correctly (at least on Fedora 64 bit), we can see this using Evince and press File->Properties Change status to WorksForMe Please, change status to Reopened if problem appears again.
