Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-11-30 09:32:51 UTC
Steps how to reproduce with parallel installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI (Build ID:fba911f-2fcbe65-8b4f344-3bd0388) (daily/Win-x86@7-MinGW/master/2011-11-25_08.14.45)"

1. Start LibO from Win "All Programs"
   LibO Start Center appears
2. Click "New Writer Document"
   New Writer Document appears
3. Type an "x"
4. Save somewhere in a documents folder with menu 'File -> Save As - x <save>'
document will be saved and changes name to "x"
5. Type another "x"
6. Click Disk Icon for "Save"
   Expected: Will be saved
Actual: "Error Saving the document x: Access .... was denied
7. clicking several times <ok> will bring up some (other) error messages,
last message will disappear, but document will stay unsaved.

I also observed that with Calc (others not tested)

This would be a blocker.

Reproducible (on WinXP) with
LibO-dev 3.5.0 · Build ID: a653e50-1f92ab1-3bd0388

Following the steps given by Rainer Bielefeld:

NOT reproducible on MacOS X 10.6.8 German
with LibO-dev 3.5.0, Build ID: 82dd652-7085c55-8b4f344-a2e750f-ce71330,
built on 2011-11-21 (this is the last MacOS version available from
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/Mac_OSX_10.6.0_gcc-4.0.1_x86/master/current/).

Either this bug appeared after 2011-11-21, or it does not occur on MacOS X.

Sorry, I found a newer MacOS X build too late, but the result is the same:

NOT reproducible on MacOS X 10.6.8 German
with LibO-dev 3.5.0
Build ID: 549f928-b211287-090bcba-45cf606,
built on 2011-12-01 (this is the last MacOS version available from
http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/MacOSX-Intel@1-built_no-moz_on_10.6.8/master/current/),
no langpack installed.

Maybe a Windows-only bug?

No longer reproducible (UI en-US; on WinXP) with
LibO-dev 3.5.0 · Build ID: 2d0998f-090bcba-45cf606
[master~2011-12-01_08.37.54_libodev35.msi · 01-Dec-2011 13:36
Index of /daily/Win-x86@6-fast/master/current].

Works for me.
Comment 6 Petr Mladek 2011-12-01 07:57:43 UTC
I am not able to reproduce this with the last build (http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/Win-x86@6-fast/master/2011-12-01_08.37.54/).

It seems that people are not able to reproduce it with last builds => it was just a bad luck => closing as WORKSFORME.

Feel free to reopen the bug if you see it with last builds.
