I download the logo of LibreOffice From http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/3/33/LibreOffice_external_logo.svg I can't open the Logo of LibreOffice with LibreOffice. :)
@Eduardo What does "I can't" mean? You can't find the file open dialog? LibO crahses? Result unusable? Some more precision, please!
Download the file and try to open. You not see the logo.
Created attachment 54861 [details] Import result and screenshot Attachment shows my result with Server installation of Master "LOdev 3.5.0beta2+ – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: 22905fb-b605e4f-4c1bcb5]" Win-x86@6- - pull time 2011-12-20 20:59:59). Only some black areas will be shown. Result of 'Insert -> Picture from file' looks fine @Eduardo: Such reports and comments are rather useless, I KNOW that various LibO.SVG logos look ugly (like many other.svg pictures). How can I know whether your results are known ones or not?
To keep things simple we take my results from attachment for further proceeding. That's not a particular 3.5.0 Beta2 problem, but visible in all Master builds of the last weeks. @reporter: Please feel free to submit an additional report if your results differ from my ones. @Thorsten: Please feel free to reassign (or reset Assignee to default) if it’s not your area or if provided information is not sufficient. Please set Status to ASSIGNED if you accept this Bug.
I found an old bug concerning exactly this problem: "Bug 38848 - VIEWING: LibreOffice_external_logo.SVG view cruelly damaged" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 38848 ***
