Description Eduardo Moreno 2011-12-27 07:36:44 UTC
I active the colors for the hyperlinks visited but, when I do a clic in the hyperlink and open the Web browser, the link not change the color.
I don't know if the site was visited.

confirmed on
LibreOffice 3.4.5 and
LibreOffice 3.5.0 rc3 Build ID: 7e68ba2-a744ebf-1f241b7-c506db1-7d53735

Reproduced, I guess, even though I don't know how to "active the colors for the hyperlinks visited".

I confirm this is still the case in:

Version: (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 184fe81b8c8c30d8b5082578aee2fed2ea847c01
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

- - -

But, with a tip from Harald Koester in Bug #112344... if you:

1. Create a URL.
2. Ctrl+Click on URL to visit it.
3. Return to LO and scroll down so URL is off screen.
4. Scroll back up.

The visited URL will now be the "visited" color.

(Mine showed unvisited as dark blue -> visited as red.)

- Step 1+2 was still dark blue.
- Step 4 = red.

To test this, go to "Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Application Colours > Custom Colours > General", tick both custom colours for hyperlinks and change them to obviously different colours.

Bug is still reproduced in Calc:

Version: / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 3752e8eaa81a50b018669d03dc59b3753a5248ef
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

But clicking a link in Writer does respect the visited link colour as expected.
Comment 10 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2023-08-02 13:25:13 UTC
Calc not respecting these application colours is inherited from OOo 3.3. (Same as the already-resolved Writer issue of having to scroll the document for the colour to update.)
