Description Jean-Baptiste Faure 2011-12-28 01:54:49 UTC
Created attachment 54881 [details]
screen copy of a corrupted StartCenter window

Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. start LibreOffice and open some document
2. close the doc to return to the StartCenter

Current behavior: StartCenter window is not completely restored and two parts of the previous view are still visible on the left and right sides of the window

Expected behavior: clean StartCenter window

This behaviour appeared when I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on a new computer. It is visible on both Unity and Gnome-shell. It affects all versions of LO, verified on LO 3.4.4 provided by Ubuntu, LO 3.4.5 rc1 and LO 3.5.0 beta2+

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Ubuntu; X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0
Comment 1 Olivier Hallot 2011-12-28 02:31:47 UTC
I do confirm this bug, and it comes since LO 3.4

Linux Kubuntu Oneiric (11.10)

Agree that it's annoying and highly visible. I am unsure if it's a deal-breaker (psychologically yes, practically it doesn't hurt anyone), though.
Comment 4 Stephan Bergmann 2012-01-15 23:35:59 UTC
This is a (known and fixed) bug in X, not LibreOffice.

changing to moved. duplicate without exising id to refer to is not good for bugzilla's mental state..
