Created attachment 54895 [details] screencast demonstrating the crash Same problem in LO 3.4.4, thus no regression (in LO 3.3.x slide pane behaves differently, so doesn't apply) to reproduce: * Create a new impress document and insert some slides (depending on the size of your desktop, you have to insert three or four - it is easiest to reproduce by inserting so many slide that the slide pane gets the scrollbar. * Enter some text into the last slide, then * click on the first slide in the slidesorter, and copy using <ctrl>+c * click below the last slide in the slidesorter, and paste using <ctrl>+v * when you move your mouse now, LO crashes Reproduced on both windows and linux, thus OS/Platform ALL (reported by OndraM on IRC)
Can't reproduce on Mac OS X 10.7.2; LO 3.4.4 (OOO340m1 (Build:402); Dutch;
Can't reproduce on Mac OS X 10.6.8; LO 3.5.0 (OOO340m1 Beta2; English;
Hm, don't see that here on Linux - will try later on win32.
Still reproducible on 3.5.0/Linux with the procedure in bug description.
Still reproducible on LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 (Linux, KDE 4.8).
(In reply to comment #0) > Reproduced on both windows and linux, thus OS/Platform ALL > Christian, do you still see that on 3.5.2 or master? For the life of me, I can't reproduce that with the steps listed.
Still reproducible on LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 (Linux, KDE 4.8). Just to note, I'm able to provide any further info needed.
(In reply to comment #7) > Just to note, I'm able to provide any further info needed. > Yes - if you could obtain a backtrace from your crash & attach here - this is the howto: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#How_to_get_backtrace_.28on_Linux.29
Created attachment 62599 [details] backtrace gdb.log
Created attachment 62600 [details] strace.log
Backtrace and even the strace log attached. Please tell if I can help in any other way.
Still reproducible on LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 (Gentoo Linux, KDE 4.9). The status is NEEDINFO. May I ask what kind of additional info can I provide?
REOPENED due to comment #12, #11, #10, #9. Also: ASSIGNED.
(In reply to comment #12) > Still reproducible on LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 (Gentoo Linux, KDE 4.9). > Sadly the backtrace does not include line info - any chance you can install debug packages, or, this being gentoo, can you re-build with symbols?
Apologies for not having gotten around fixing this bug yet; unfortunately in future I'll have even less time at my disposal for this, so I'm freeing up ownership for other volunteers to take over.
As far as I can see in master this doesn't happen for me, nothing under valgrind either. If someone can reproduce on master, please reopen
