screencast demonstrating the crash

Same problem in LO 3.4.4, thus no regression (in LO 3.3.x slide pane behaves differently, so doesn't apply)

to reproduce:
* Create a new impress document and insert some slides (depending on the size of your desktop, you have to insert three or four - it is easiest to reproduce by inserting so many slide that the slide pane gets the scrollbar.
* Enter some text into the last slide, then
* click on the first slide in the slidesorter, and copy using <ctrl>+c
* click below the last slide in the slidesorter, and paste using <ctrl>+v
* when you move your mouse now, LO crashes

Reproduced on both windows and linux, thus OS/Platform ALL

Christian, do you still see that on 3.5.2 or master? For the life of me, I can't reproduce that with the steps listed.
Comment 7 Ondrej Machulda 2012-06-01 10:45:09 UTC
Still reproducible on LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 (Linux, KDE 4.8).

Just to note, I'm able to provide any further info needed.

Yes - if you could obtain a backtrace from your crash & attach here - this is the howto: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#How_to_get_backtrace_.28on_Linux.29

Still reproducible on LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 (Gentoo Linux, KDE 4.9).

The status is NEEDINFO. May I ask what kind of additional info can I provide?

Sadly the backtrace does not include line info - any chance you can install debug packages, or, this being gentoo, can you re-build with symbols?
Comment 15 Thorsten Behrens (allotropia) 2013-09-12 16:14:44 UTC
Apologies for not having gotten around fixing this bug yet; unfortunately in future I'll have even less time at my disposal for this, so I'm freeing up ownership for other volunteers to take over.
Comment 16 Caolán McNamara 2013-10-16 07:50:47 UTC
As far as I can see in master this doesn't happen for me, nothing under valgrind either. If someone can reproduce on master, please reopen
